Health & Safety Disclaimer
Perfect Training, operated by NIL Plus d.o.o., is a fitness and training app for youth and amateur athletes. The information, training plans, exercises, videos, and heart-rate measurements provided through the App are intended for general fitness and training purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult a doctor first
Always consult a qualified medical professional before:
- Starting any new exercise or training program
- Making significant changes to your physical activity
- Beginning to train if you have, or suspect you may have, any medical condition, injury, cardiovascular disease, respiratory condition, or other health concern
- Beginning to train if you are pregnant or have recently given birth
The Target Heart Rate (THR) feature is an estimate, not a clinical measurement
The App can measure your resting heart rate using the rear camera and flashlight on your phone (a technique called photoplethysmography, or PPG). This feature is designed to help you train smarter, but:
- It is not a medical device and is not certified for clinical or diagnostic use.
- The accuracy of the measurement depends on many factors, including how you place your finger on the camera, the lighting, the phone hardware, and your physiology.
- The “maximum heart rate” used to calculate your training zones is estimated using the standard “220 minus age” formula. This is a population-level estimate and may differ significantly from your true maximum heart rate.
- Do not rely on the THR feature for any medical decision.
Stop and seek help if you feel unwell
If you experience any of the following symptoms during or after training, stop immediately and seek medical help:
- Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
- Dizziness, light-headedness, or fainting
- Shortness of breath beyond what is normal for the activity
- Irregular, very fast, or very slow heartbeat
- Sudden severe headache
- Pain or numbness in the arm, neck, jaw, or back
- Joint pain, sharp muscle pain, or other injury
Train within your ability
- Listen to your body. Rest when you need to.
- Warm up properly before any high-intensity activity, and cool down afterwards.
- If an exercise causes pain (other than normal training fatigue), stop and modify or skip it.
- Use appropriate equipment, footwear, and a safe training environment.
- Stay hydrated and well-nourished.
You train at your own risk
By using the App, you acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury or, in rare cases, more serious harm. You voluntarily accept those risks and agree that Perfect Training and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the App, the training plans, the exercises, or the THR feature, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
If you do not understand or agree with this disclaimer, please do not use the App.
